Accessibility

The Spanish Cooperation Portal has been designed to ensure all members of society, regardless of disabilities, age or use of unconventional technologies to access the internet, can visit the various pages on this website without experiences any access problems.

To achieve this goal, the portal has been created in compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 established by the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium).

Some of the functions introduced to ensure maximum ease of access to all content on this website are:

  • The display properties (font type, font colour, background, etc.) are defined on a style sheet, allowing the user to adjust the text to their own personal preferences.
  • The font sizes have been defined with relative units so that the size can be increased or reduced from the browser options.
  • If the user's browser does not support style sheets, this will not be a problem since all content can still be accessed with CSS deactivated.
  • The website is designed to have a clear structure for all users, regardless of whether they can see all the content, read the information through a screen reader or have the style sheet deactivated, etc. To ensure this target is met, all section headers, lists and elements that help with the general comprehension of the website have been defined in HTML code.
  • The HTML and CSS codes are adjusted to formal syntax requirements in order to guarantee that the content can be properly displayed on different browsers.

If you have any problems accessing the content of this website, please do not hesitate to contact us. Either send us an email to info@cooperacionespanola.esor use the contact form.
